JACircuits Autocross Timer

The production run of the 2nd generation timer has ended.  Many of the internal parts are now obsolete and some of the “replacements” are not equivalent enough for the timer to work correctly.   We are happy to provide accessories for the 2nd generation timer.  Photoheads, displays, connectors, and cables are all compatible with the 3rd generation system.

Unfortunately, our third generation timer is not quite ready for production.  We are completing the second version prototype. The first version prototype was a proof of concept and worked correctly, but was not intended for field use.  The new timer will have significantly more capability than the 2nd gen unit, but the second prototype needs to be completed, tested, and production hardened to assure customers are provided the same JACircuits quality they have come to expect.

The second generation JACircuits timer was designed to have outstanding efficiency and reliability at a reasonable cost.  The timer and has 2 serial ports and 1 parallel printer port for communicating with large format displays, PCs, and printers.   The timer software can run in 3 modes:

• Sequential Mode (up to 8 cars simultaneously)
• JACircuits Mode (emulate the original JACircuits timer)

• Optional Chrono Mode - Timer uses input to all 4 photoheads.  All control signals and timer status sent out serial port to PC
